• Celebrating Graduation
    The College of Lake County adds skills to the workforce and boosts the competitiveness of area businesses. In the past five years, 28,997 students have enrolled in a career or vocational program. In the last 10 years, eight out of ten Lake County employers hired a CLC student at some point, and four out of 10 Lake County workers have taken a credit course at CLC.
  • Alumni Board
    The mission of the College of Lake County Alumni Association is to build relationships and to foster loyalty in support of the college through activities and services offered to its alumni, students, faculty/staff and the community. The CLC Alumni Association Board meets every other month to guide and support the mission and goals of the CLC Alumni Association.
  • The Atrium Garden
    The Atrium Garden is located at the Grayslake Campus between the Library and the Technology Building. It is a quiet space to study and enjoy nature. In 2005, the CLC Alumni Association donated a pagoda and lantern garden statues to enhance the beauty of the Atrium Garden.
  • Keeping Campus Green
    CLC has put together a campus master plan to fulfill the growing educational needs of Lake County while protecting the open space that surrounds the campus. As a member of The Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN), CLC leads sustainability initiatives across the campus and Lake County community.   • James Lumber Center
    The James Lumber Center serves as a venue for professional touring events; performances for school groups; college theatre, music and dance, children's events and more. The Performing Arts Building was officially dedicated on March 8, 1997. The first full season began in September 1997. Since then, thousands of patrons have attended events held in this beautiful facility.

Within the Round Table, you can look up old and new CLC friends, learn what other alumni are doing, expand your professional and social network and tap into valuable career services offered by the college. The Round Table is also a place to view current college videos, keep up with CLC news and events and find opportunities to give back to the college. The College of Lake County Alumni Center presents their 2012 Professional Seminar Series. The last topic of the series is Leadership Essentials. The seminars will begin at 6:00 p.m. at CLC's Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills. The cost of each seminar is $25 and includes a light dinner.

‘Here Comes Trouble,’ an exhibit by painter Bill Frederick
An exhibit of 23 works by a Chicago painter Bill Frederick under the title “Bill Frederick: Here Comes Trouble” will be on view at the College of Lake County Gallery of Art from May 18 to June 29. Frederick uses simple materials of brush, ink, watercolor and paper, and his work expresses his preoccupations with friends and family, history, geography and a nagging sense of dread. More ...
