Eligibility and Member Benefits
Joining the College of Lake County Alumni Association is the best way to keep in touch with your alma mater. There are two levels of membership: Alumni membership is for individuals who have received a degree or certificate from the College of Lake County, and Associate membership is for individuals who have completed at least 15 credit hours. Annual membership dues are $20 annually and $200 for a lifetime membership. As a paid member, you are eligible to receive a number of benefits.

- Discounts for tour and travel packages offered through the CLC Student Activities Office
- Member discounts through MetLife and T-Mobile

- Discount on massages through CLC's Center for Health & Wellness
- Family members/relatives eligible for Alumni Relative Scholarship (Alumni membership only)
Two awards will be given each semester for tuition and/or books. Students are required to be enrolled in minimum of six credit hours with a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must be relatives of CLC Alumni who are in good standing with the CLC Alumni Association.
- Access to CLC's Learning Resource Center, whether you live within the Lake County district or not
- Free admission to open-gym nights (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Free use of CLC's Fitness Center (when classes are not in session)
- Services provided at CLC's Career Placement Center
How to Join
Joining the Alumni Association is easy. Just call the alumni office at 847-543-2400 or go to membership.
Opportunities to Participate
The Alumni Association welcomes your participation. Among the options:
- The Alumni Scholarship Fund offers two different scholarships. The Alumni Relative Scholarship provides funds to students attending CLC who are relatives of active (dues-paying) alumni. The University Center of Lake County Scholarship is designed to assist a CLC graduate transferring to a participating college or university at the University Center of Lake County. These scholarships are made possible through various fund-raising activities and through the contributions of CLC Alumni.
- Participate in the activities and outings that are planned throughout the year.
- Get involved with the Alumni Association Board or one of the following committees: Activities, Scholarship & Fund-Raising, Membership & Benefits or Volunteer.
